John Hadfield is a multi-talented performer who's Monkeys in the House variety show includes funny original music, magic, comedy and juggling. His new CD, co-written by Darlington Teaching Artist Geri Smith, recently won two Children's Music Web Awards: Best Recording for Kids ages 5-8, and Best Recording for Kids ages 8-12 and exposes children to many musical genres (rock, country, bluegrass, hip hop, punk and oom-pah) and prompts them to laugh, dance, sing along and ask questions.

He holds an advanced degree from the Ringling Bros. Clown College, toured for two years with the Royal Lichtenstein Circus, and has performed at The White House, The National Theater, Disneyland, The World Café, the Philadelphia International Children's Festival, the China International Children's Festival, and Magic Land in Bangkok Thailand.
