Darlington Master Classes

The Center invites outstanding teacher/performers to instruct music students from the Center and the community in a public forum. It is a wonderful learning opportunity for both performer and audience. In recent years, Darlington has had the privledge of presenting nationally and internationally known artists/teachers such as Roberto Diaz, viola; Veda Kaplinski, piano; Leon Bates, piano; Terel Stafford, trumpet; Adeline Tomasone, flute; Julian Rodescu, bass; Jason Vieaux, guitar; Judith Ingolffson, violin; and Angela and David Nelson, percussion.

Darlington offers an excellent series of master classes featuring some of the finest musician-pedagogues in this country and abroad. These master clases are open to the public and offer valuable opportunities to teachers, students and music-lovers alike. We urge our students and parents to attend these clases. One can hear music, gain valuable musical perspective and knowledge, and watch a great teacher/performer in action.
