Directions to Darlington Arts Center

Darlington Arts Center opened its doors at a new location on June 1, 2002, and is proud to offer an extensive schedule of classes and workshops for all ages in its beautiful new center! Please stop by and visit this new and exciting facility. We are located at 977 Shavertown Road, Boothwyn, PA (Concord Township), just 1/4 mile from US Route 202 and Route 491 (Naamans Creek Road).

 

From the Wilmington Area (and Points to the South)

-- 95 North
-- Exit at 202 North (continue past the Concord Mall on your right & cross the PA State Line)
-- Turn Right onto Rte. 491 East (Naaman's Creek Road) at the Wawa
-- Turn Left at the First Traffic Light: Shavertown Road (road name on right is different)
-- The Center will be on the Left behind a little white farm house with black shutters. It looks like a red and white barn. The main entrance to the Center is facing the back of the property. Follow the parking lot around to the back.

 

From the Philadelphia Area

-- 95 South beyond Chester
-- Exit 95 at 322 West
-- Exit at Route 261 South. Continue up the hill to the stop sign.
-- Turn Left on to Route 261 South (Foulk Road)
-- Turn Right at the First Traffic Light, Route 491, (Naaman's Creek Road)
-- You will pass Booth's Corner Farmers Market on your right
-- At the second Traffic Light, Turn Right onto Shavertown Road (the last street before Route 202)

From the West Chester Area (and Points to the North)

-- 202 South
-- cross Route 1 and go about 5 traffic lights (approx. 2 miles)
-- Turn Left onto Rte 491, Naaman's Creek Road at the Wawa
-- Turn Left at the First Traffic Light: Shavertown Road (road name on right is different)

From the Kennett Square Area (and Points to the West)

-- Rte 1 North
-- Turn Right onto Rte 202 South and go about 5 traffic lights (approx. 2 miles)
-- Turn Left onto Rte 491, Naaman's Creek Road at the Wawa
-- Turn Left at the First Traffic Light: Shavertown Road (road name on right is different)

From the Media Area (and Points to the East)

-- Rte 1 South (Baltimore Pike) past the Granite Run Mall
-- Pass the WAWA Corp entrance, go to the top of the hill to the traffic light and Turn Left onto Valley Brook Road
-- Turn Right onto Smithbridge Road (aprox. a mile)
-- At the Third Traffic Light, Turn Left onto Kirk Road (you will pass the Garnet Valley Schools and Concord Township Building/Rachel Kohl Library.
-- At the First Stop Sign Turn Right on Shavertown Road (road name on left is different)
