Homeschool & Kindergarten Arts Programs
Darlington Arts Center offers programs specifically designed for homeschooling families. Our programs are excellent enhancements to a home education, and are designed to maximize the advantages of homeschooling – your ability to make educational choices for your family.
Studies by the U.S. Department of Education and the Arts Education Partnership reveal the strong relationship between arts education and the healthy development of fundamental cognitive skills and abilities that are essential to mastering other primary subjects such as reading, writing and mathematics. Darlington’s programs are designed to cultivate creativity, motivation to learn and communication skills. Furthermore, our programs nurture self-respect and pride by instilling students with a sense of accomplishment.
In addition thescheduled classes, any of Darlington's offerings may be customized for homeschoolers during the day. Contact the office with any scheduling requests. We will accomodate any age, any subject, any discipline.
