Does your hectic schedule keep you from joining our classes? Private lessons are a great way to ease your way into an instrument, style or subject or to begin intensive study. Lessons can be arranged for any length of time in a wide array of instruments, styles, or media with supportive and experienced teachers. Let us match you with a teacher who can help you achieve your goals while working within your schedule.
Private Music lessons are available for piano, voice, violin, viola, cello, trumpet, saxophone, oboe, flute, clarinet, guitar (rock, folk, jazz, classical), banjo, ukulele, French horn, trombone, tuba and drums/percussion. Music lessons for the 2012-2013 year are $29.75/30-minute lesson; $44.63/45-minute lesson; and $59.50/hour lesson for most teachers. (Some teachers only accept students after an audition and may have higher rates.)
Private Dramatic coaching includes individual analysis and critique using primarily monologue and improvisation. Dramatic lessons are $48/hour lesson.
Private Visual Arts instruction is available for a wide range of media and experience levels. Private art lessons are $48/hour lesson and are available from many of our visual arts instructors.
Private Dance instruction is available in all levels and for all ages in ballet, tap, modern, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, character and pointe. Private dance lessons are $48/hour lesson and are available from any of our dance instructors.
Private Fitness instruction includes learning the proper way to stretch and exercise. This improves your results and reduces the amount of time needed when exercising. Feel free to bring your favorite workout video to review to ensure you are getting the most out of your routine. Private fitness lessons are $65/hour lesson.
Private Yoga instruction is available for all levels of yoga experience – beginner, intermediate and advanced. Lessons move at your own pace and highlight what you want to focus on. Lessons are $48/hour and offered by instructors Pat Schmitt and Michele Durning.
