Dance

Darlington Arts Center’s Dance Program was established to provide quality dance education to students of all ages in a fun, encouraging and supportive environment. Students gain an appreciation of dance and valuable performing experience through their participation in weekly classes and the annual dance recital. Students are expected to spend two to three years at each level. Entrance to classes level II or above requires teacher permission.

Dance Recital 2010-2011 Information:
    Darlington’s Annual Dance Recital will be held in May at Garnet Valley High School.
    Once exact dates are set, they will be posted here.
    Classes will continue to meet after the recital.

Upon registration of a 34-week class, students will be charged a $30 recital fee per family to help defray the cost of the performance space and cover costume shipping costs. There is no additional charge for tickets or a limit on invited guests. Costumes will be selected and ordered by the teachers. Students will receive written notification of the size and price after measurements are taken by the teacher. Parents will have two weeks to send in payment and to discuss any changes in size.
