The arts are used in community celebrations in every culture around the world. Tap into the festive spirit of these artistic events at Darlington Arts Center’s 2012 Cultural Summer Arts Camp. Each camp will explore music, visual art, dance and drama from different cultures, as presented in arts festivals world-wide. Students will gain the benefit of learning about diverse cultures and art forms while staying close to home under the direction of professional teaching artists.

The campers will be divided into groups by age (listed by each week’s description found below or here). Weekly costs include a t-shirt and all materials.

Full Day Arts Camps are daily, Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm.
The cost per week is $275*.  (Center closed Wednesday, July 4th resulting in two short sessions: July 2-3 and 5-6, cost of $110 each.)
*Visual Art Intensive Camps are $300 per week.

Preschool Arts Camps (ages 3-5) are in the morning, 9:30am-Noon, and have three choices each week:
- 2 days a week:   Tuesday & Thursday                    $50 per week
- 3 days a week:   Monday, Wednesday & Friday      $75 per week
- 5 days a week:   Monday-Friday                             $125 per week
* Center closed Wednesday, July 4th resulting in an adjusted Preschool schedule July 2-6:  2 day options are Mon/Tues or Thurs/Fri and $50 each.
All Preschoolers MUST be potty-trained!

Extended Day Options are available for all ages
- Before Camp Care for Full Day Camp         8-9am         $10 / day
- Before Preschool Camp Care                      8-9:30am    $15 / day
- After Camp Care for Full Day Camp            3-5pm         $10 / day
- Preschool Lunch Bunch each Wednesday  Noon-1pm   $10 / day (bring your lunch)
Earlier or later arrangements available; price to be determined.
All extended day arrangements must be made over the phone or in person.

Sibling Discount: 5% off the lowest priced camp for families with more than one child attending the same week of camp. (Siblings do not have to be in the same age group.) Extended Day options are also eligible for the discount. To receive the sibling discount, registration must be done over the phone or in person.

Summer Camp 2012 Policies

Camp Payment Policies
No space in camp will be held without registration and tuition payment. At the time of registration, the full family registration fee and camp tuition is due.
Withdrawal Policies
- Camp withdrawals made at least two weeks prior to the first day of camp will be refunded 100%.
- Camp withdrawals made after the two week deadline will NOT be refunded or credited.
Extended Day
Before Camp Care and After Camp Care must be arranged and paid for at least one week prior to the start of care.  All Extended Day arrangements must be made over the phone or in person.
