Musical Theater Master Class with Michael Borton

Performer, educator and music director, Michael Borton, will teach young singers how to use their skills to achieve Musical Theater success! Borton will share audition pointers as well as musical and dramatic techniques to improve performance. In addition to learning a group number, participants are invited to bring their favorite song for individualized feedback. Borton has spent the past decade performing, educating, and music directing in local and regional theater. He has performed in both musicals and operas with such companies as Walnut Street Theatre, Arden Theatre, Central City Opera, and Opera Delaware. He has taught piano and voice lessons at Waldron and Merion Mercy academies, Walnut Street Theatre and in his private studio. Mike has music directed for La Salle University, The University of the Arts and Walnut Street Theatre. Visual Art Intensive Camp - August 20-24 - ages 9-13

Unleash your creativity during a weeklong exploration of the Visual Arts! Try different styles and media such as paint, graphite, clay, pastels and mixed media, while learning about artists and art movements. Students will discover their own strengths and develop technique while creating one-of-a-kind works of art. Projects will differ from the June & July weeks allowing campers to attend one or all weeks of Visual Art Intensive Camp.

Paper Bag Princess: Stories for Strong Girls Theater Camp - August 20-24 - ages 9-14
