Teen Trimester Classes: 2025-2026
Trimester- A trimester class structure follows a school year model divided into three 10-week terms instead of the typical 8-week sessions.
Because we are a member-supported center for the arts, a non-refundable Family Membership of $75, valid from September 1 through August 31, is required to enroll in all activities (exceptions are noted and include all workshops) and will be pro-rated to $40 for activities beginning after March 1. The Family Membership may be tax-deductible and allows Darlington to maintain facilities, provide excellent administration, care for our instruments and studios, and fulfill our mission to provide Every Art for Everyone.

Pottery by Wheel & Hand
Ages: 11-17, Tuesdays, 5:30pm-7:30pm
Have you enjoyed taking Play With Clay or Paint and Clay Works? Have you always wanted to learn how to work the wheel? If your answer was YES, then this class is for you. Learn the basics of wheel throwing and continue creating amazing clay creations by hand.

Introduction to Costume Design (Teen)
Ages: 13-18, Tuesdays, 5:30pm-7:00pm
Expand your costume design skills by delving deeper into building costumes from scratch. This class will focus more on the sewing aspect of costume design. Students will take a basic dress pattern and learn how to adapt it to various styles and time periods.

If illustration is your passion, join us for a fun class where you will learn to draw anime, cartoons, and comic book characters! Learn many illustrating techniques from classic cartooning to modern graphic novels.

Drama
Darlington Adventurer's Guild: Master - Game Master's Workshop
Ages: 8-14, Saturdays, 10:00am-12:00pm
This Master level class focuses on how to be a successful Game Master. Students will explore running a game and practice giving constructive feedback to their fellow Game Masters. (Prerequisite - For the 2024-2025 academic year, students must have taken two sessions of last year’s Dungeons and Darlington class in order to enroll in this Master level class).
