Art Gallery Opening begins at 6:00 PM and Honors Recital at 7:00 PM

An honor music recital and art gallery opening at Darlington Arts Center provide a crescendo and exclamation point to conclude the annual 4 Arts Festival.  Student musicians will be performing several classical and contemporary piano compositions during the evening concert.

The Art Gallery Opening features the photography of Jason Cline and will be on display through August. The gallery opening begins at 6:00 p.m. and the Honors Recital begins at 7:00 p.m. The event provides attendees an opportunity to partake and appreciate multiple arts forms under one roof on a pleasant spring evening..

“Darlington music students have sparkled throughout the month-long 4 Arts Festival during multiple recitals and performance on and off campus,” said Darlington Executive Director, Eric Carter Thompson.  “Pianists left me, along with family members, and everyone in attendance, in awe with their talents and mastery of beautiful and complex compositions.  Their performances are a testament to the support of their families, their own diligence, and the superb instruction provided by our Teaching Artist faculty.”
