Student Music Recital and Holiday Jam are two highlights on December 8 Open House
Darlington music students will charm and amaze on Saturday, December 8 at 3:00 p.m. with a holiday recital serving as music kickoff to a perfect afternoon and evening of art and performance at the Arts Center Open House event. The recital follows the Art Gallery opening for abstract artist T. J. Walsh, beginning at 2:30.
Students performing at earlier recitals this fall illuminated their talents before family and friends illustrating the depth and variety of music options available to begin and continue an artistic journey at Darlington. Each performed wonderfully and their joy was evident. The success and accomplishments of Darlington students that culminate during music recitals bring immediate satisfaction. Each recital offers a declaration of achievement, a statement of value in a sojourn of becoming. Please join us to celebrate and applaud these exceptional students.
Following the recital is our annual Holiday Jam featuring Darlington Teaching Artists, students, staff, and members of the community in a wonderful and festive session of music to elevate the spirits and jump start the holiday cheer at Darlington Art Center. Please join us with instrument and voice for a special art and music afternoon and evening. In this back to back to back Saturday of arts exposure, stay or return for the Coffee House Concert at 7:30 p.m. featuring international talent Liz Filios with pianist Heath Allen. Luxuriate in an evening of music to savor at this intimate venue. Reserve your table here.
