This summer, the community gathered to create a lasting monument representing the area’s local history and personal stories under the guidance of members from Totem Rhythms, Inc., Darlington Arts Center and Cheyney University of Pennsylvania. Come out and join the Community Totem Pole Dedication Celebration on Saturday, October 1, 11am at Darlington Arts Center. There will be Native Americans in traditional dress performing traditional rituals and a brief ceremony to thank all the volunteers and participants.
